Kids doing wheelies
why is this suddenly a thing?

everywhere I go I'm seeing kids on mountain bikes pulling extended wheelies

Why is this now a must do skill?

is it the new fingering?

Constant peddling down main roads no handed to whilst playing with their phones. As I'm passing part of me prays they fall off and under my wheels but then I'd need to get my tracking done and thats a pain in the arse.

It's definitely more common now. Late teens doing this on main roads holding up the traffic because they're such rebels. Divs.

Confiscate their sticks & hoops and this is the result. Back up the chimney with the fucking lot of them; need to know their place.

I wish I had done it while younger. Every time my MT10 pops a wheelie I am too scared to balance it up for any length of time. Cue a slagging off by my stalkers..

What's the bike like?

I recently went on a swing for the first time in about 30 years. A swing! Obviosuly the first thing to do was to go as high as possible without 'bumping' and then leap off. Felt waaaay scarier as an adult, found it hard to let go for laughing!

Think we called that an endo in Essex.

Best done on a Raleigh Grifter with its front mudguard tucked in to make a 'realistic' engine sound.

Re: Kids doing wheelies
Around where I am, they're all constantly doing them on their scooters and motorbikes.

Sure it's not just me who is always disappointed that they don't fall off and get run over by the car behind.
